Sydney six-piece Furnace and the Fundamentals bring their high-energy covers to the UK for summer tour

The high energy cover band made the long trip from the Land of Oz at the start of the month with one sole purpose: to get the people of the UK up and dancing!

Comprised of: Elliott ‘Furnace’ Crane (lead vocals), Digby Robinson (lead guitar), Lachlan ‘Pluto’ Nicolson (keys), Marcus Anderson (bass), Tom Mackenzie (guitar) and Mike Solo (drums), who by day work across a myriad of industries, but by night transform themselves into ‘the best party band of all time’.

From The Beatles to Beyonce, Michael Jackson to Mark Ronson, Queen to Daft Punk and everything in between, Furnace and The Fundamentals deliver some of the best songs of all time with all the character of the original, but twice the energy.

Labelling themselves as ‘musical chameleons with a sense of humour’ the band are a tight-knit unit, full of energy, aiming to provide engaging live performances. Having amassed a fan base of thousands across Australia, Furnace have played at some of the country’s most iconic venues including Falls Festival, the Perth and Adelaide Fringe, New Year’s Eve on Sydney Harbour, as well as the city’s historic Enmore Theatre.

Following two huge nights at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, they are now embarking on their 13-date UK tour that sees them headline shows in London, Leicester and Cambridge, as well as appearances at Propaganda parties across the country. With their first headline show in London already sold out, the band’s debut UK tour is already proving to be one of the hottest tickets this summer.
